Pain Management (MSPM 4022)

This subject introduces students to the comprehensive discussion about the nature of pain phenomenon including its definition and epidemiology, anatomical and psychological nature of pain. Including assessment and measurement of pain, management strategies for therapists, and common pain conditions. Students will be able to understand the origin of pain and its effect on the patient condition which lead to the appropriate choice of treatment based on evidence based practice.
