The course is to provide comprehensive knowledge and understanding on the infection prevention and control. this will allow students to relate knowledge and management according to guidelines of infection control, quality assurance programme, legal issues and professionalism. thus enhance their abilities to work effectively in primary, secondary and tertiary preventions.

The course is to provide comprehensive knowledge and understanding on the characteristics and morphology of microorganism, antimicrobial and epidemiology in the management according to guidelines of infection prevention and control.

The course is to provide comprehensive knowledge and understanding on the roles and responsibilities of infection control personnel relating to management of environmental hygiene, disinfection and sterilization, food safety and catering in the healthcare settings.
